If the weather is inclement, this will usually not affect your charter. In rare cases where the Captain has deemed it unsafe to proceed with the charter, you will be promptly informed of any changes to your charter schedule or date. In cases where alternative dates are unsuitable, a refund will be discussed with you.
To preserve the pristine condition of Phoenix One, a no smoking policy is in place while cruising. Smoking is not permitted inside the superyacht at any time. The crew will advise you of the designated outdoor smoking area—equipped with an ashtray for safe and proper disposal—available for use while at anchor or berth.
To maintain Phoenix One’s interiors, a no-shoes policy is in place. Shoes will be collected prior to boarding and securely stored on board for the duration of the charter. Shoes will be returned to guests when disembarking. Socks may be worn if preferred.
Guests with a medical condition requiring footwear are encouraged to advise the Phoenix One crew in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made to ensure comfort.
Phoenix One is equipped with stabilisers to reduce the rolling motion from the ocean while underway. However, depending on the charter location, weather and ocean swell, some guests may still get seasick. To minimise discomfort, a natural ginger supplement—such as Blackmores Travel Calm Ginger—is recommended at least two hours prior to departure. Staying in an area with a clear view of the horizon may also ease any motion sickness.
The heated jacuzzi on board Phoenix One is available for use during day charters longer than six hours, as well as overnight charters. As the jacuzzi requires time to fill and heat, advance notice is essential to accommodate this within the itinerary. Please note, the yacht is unable to travel when the jacuzzi is full.
Almost all dietary requirements and allergies can be accommodated with advance notice. Please provide details at the time of booking to ensure a tailored menu can be arranged and confirmed ahead of the charter.
